Who we are
Minkrop is made by BRANISTE COSMIN SEBASTIAN PFA, B-dul Bucureștii Noi nr. 136, ground floor, ap. 5, Sector 1, Bucharest, Romania; CUI 51301652; Trade Register no. F2025004897007 (“we”). Contact: [email protected]. These terms apply when you create a Minkrop account, use the Minkrop app or buy a subscription.
Who sells the subscription
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase; these terms apply to your use of Minkrop.
The free trial
A new account gets a 15-day free trial of the full app. No card is needed and nothing is charged. When the trial ends, the app stops working until you choose a plan. One trial per person.
Plans and payment
Minkrop is a subscription: monthly, 6 months (Season) or 12 months (Annual). Each period is paid in advance, in a single payment. Prices are shown on minkrop.com and at checkout, in your currency. Prices exclude VAT and sales tax: the checkout adds the tax that applies in your billing country. The price depends on your billing country.
Renewal and cancellation
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, for the same length (a Season renews every 6 months), until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page: you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for and you won’t be charged again.
Launch price
The first 100 paying customers (whatever the plan) get the launch price, 30% below the regular price. You keep it for as long as your subscription renews without interruption. If it ends, a new subscription is at the regular price.
Price changes
We may change our prices. A change never applies to a period you’ve already paid for: we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before then.
Your licence
While your trial or subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Minkrop on 1 computer at a time, for your own photography, including paid work for clients. You can move it to another computer by deactivating the old one on your account page.
You can add licences for more computers to your subscription, each at 50% of your plan’s price, for the same period.
You may not share, resell or rent your account, or copy, reverse-engineer or modify the app, except where the law allows it.
Your photos
Minkrop runs on your computer and your photos never leave it. They stay yours: we get no rights to them. The app connects to our server only to check your licence and look for updates.
Updates
Your subscription includes every Minkrop update released while it’s active. We may change features, but we won’t take away the core of what you’ve paid for during a paid period.
Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a subscription. Renewals are not refunded, but you can cancel at any time before the next one. See the refund policy for details.
Warranty and liability
We work to keep Minkrop reliable, but software can fail: always keep a backup of your original photos.
As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost work. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer, including the legal guarantee that digital content conforms to the contract.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms (for example, a shared or resold account), after telling you why. If we close an account through no fault of yours, we refund the unused part of the period.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can go to its courts. Please write to us first at [email protected]; we answer within 14 days. Consumers can also use the alternative dispute resolution of the Romanian consumer protection authority, ANPC (anpc.ro/ce-este-sal).
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll publish the new version here with its date and, for changes that affect you, email you at least 30 days before they apply to your subscription.
